So, we should have all seen HBP by now. If not, you'd better have a good excuse ;)

Wow. WOW.

I personally loved it. I was disappointed with the removal/addition of a few scenes (and characters!), but I think I can safely say this is probably one of my favourite movies of the series (we all know #3 wins, hands-down!).

So, who wants to share their thoughts? Movie/Book Spoilers are in the comments, people, so don't go clicking if you don't wanna know.

Comment here or at the site.

Personally, I was totally looking forward to the older Weasley brothers. Shame they didn't turn up :(

BUT! A cauldron exploded in Seamus' face, and that took the edge off somewhat!

I can't believe that we were talking the night before about how there was a lack of Seamus blowing things up and then POOF! in the new movie - gotta love that!!

I was pissed that there was no fight scene at the end - and what about the other characters that died??? WHY ONLY DUMBLEDORE?!?!?!?!?!!!!

But still.. it gets better every time I see it :)

Haha, you've seen it again ALREADY?!?

Yeah, that was totally great about Seamus. Lol, and your scar!gasms whenever Snape appeared on the screen? PRICELESS.

However, I will never forget the mad re-quoting that happened during our mad re-watch the night before.

That's no moon. It's a chess board.

The Esteemed Carrot of the Vikings: Slughorn is my hero.vikingcarrot on July 17th, 2009 11:59 am (UTC)
I think I just about came every time Greyback turned up.

And every time Snape responded to something Harry said to him by staring at him and then swooping off without a word.

And every time Slughorn looked nervous or awkward.

Greyback... as soon as I saw him I thought of your pictures. Perfect, you know? Shame we didn't get to see more of him. I was morbidly looking forward to seeing him slice 'n' dice in the epic Hogwarts battle. Disappointment :(

I know, right. No big Hogwarts battle.

Poor Fennie, no hacking away at Weasleys.

I loved it! I've gotten used to great scenes/characters not appearing the films and so just try to accept it as a separate entity to the book it's based on. That said, I was disappointed with Slughorn at first (he didn't look at all how I expected) but loved him by the end. I swooned about a billion times at Snape. God Alan Rickman is looking handsome these days!

I'm off to see it again tonight actually XD
